Thanks for the replies all .

I'm still hopeful that the weather will be relatively settled when I get back from Norway, and that I'll be able to give the lures another go, but if not, then I'm sure the memories of catching some proper Norwegian lunkers will be enough to take my mind off the end of my bass fishing for another year .
