A trip to Swanage to fish in the dark, target was a Five Bearded Rockling and whatever else swam in the sea.
First spot was near the pier entrance, the Rockling like the shallows there.
One bite in an hour and a cold breeze face on.
The bite resulted in the target species, No. 46, so not all bad.
I upped sticks and went around to the Banjo Pier where the breeze would be from behind and there would be a chance of something different. I caught five small Pout, as I was unhooking one the other rod arched over, a 42 cm Bass was the culprit, it must have heard that we can't take them now.
A pleasant enough four hours fishing.
Next target, a Huss when the weather and tides are right..
