For a change I thought I would try a Sunday night session especially after the last 2 days of bad weather.
I could only get rag , so I thought I would bring along some fish baits .
I decided to set up 3 rods 2 with 2 hook flappers and one with bigger hooks for conger , i got there for 6.15pm to fish the ebb tide low was 10pm , from the start pout were active I must have had over a dozen , the bass also put in an appearance I had 8 bass , the crabs were also active and there were some big ones , the biggest shore crabs I have seen . The mackerel and the squid baits all came back with clean hooks , I packed up about 9.30 , it was a lovely calm evening with no rain and the wind died off .47561617-0715-4BB2-9F62-020A3625FE7C.jpeg1DA4252A-C3BC-423F-BD53-E50FB60745EF.jpeg

Nice one John! Sounds like a busy session! (y)(y)

You would need a long cast to reach the sea from there , and mutley plain is now taken over by the students, and barber shops
When I worked at Toshiba there was a very interesting area nearby but I can't remember the name???
