Hi All, (first post)
Went out 30 minutes after low. One rod, Rockhoppers unwanted rag and hope of a Cod. I hold the rod so l can feel the rats drop onto the bait and it gives me chance to pull it away from them. Still managed 3!! ? and probably pulled it away from 4 or 5. Only fished for just under 2 hours. Not the best trip, conditions weren't great for the venue. Some great photography, even if I say so myself.....

All the best

Shame about the lack of unicorns.
I think flat spiky things have taken over.

It's the same here. Amazing how things pick up when the commercials have stricter restrictions on their catches. A local river (Crouch) had trawling banned recently. This year it had it's first major run of smoothhounds for many years, plenty of decent sized bass throughout the summer and more roker than you can shake a stick at. Lets hope the government strike the right balance next year and stocks bounce back all over the country.
