Favourite Fishing
Shore
fishing from low up to high, bait squid, softies, rag, herring.
first cast with new rods (zziplex dymic hst evos ) small male thorny (3lb 4) on squid
another male just under 4lb on squid rag wrap
then another male just over 4lb on squid rag wrap, all returned alive.
had a slack liner,(thinking hound) ( squid and rag wrap) when I caught up with it it took my line up stream about 30 yards, turned it round it came back could feel it all the way but made a bad decision to try to get to a better landing spot as there are overhang rocks close in where I was and allowed line to go slack and it tangled up in the rocks causing me to lose it and my end gear. wasnt a massive fish but still seems they are there again this year although not in quantities yet .
all in all a great days fishing . same place in two weeks hoping some hound action again .

Shame on the lost fish but well done on the rays.
