Anyone already tried or had success with these the Dark sleeper & Halco catch scent
I know they've been out for a while now but finally took the plunge and ordered a few watched the usual youtube videos especially the French lad's seem to do well on them with or without using the halco additive well you don't know until you try these things for yourself 🤔

They look very realistic and the no1 rule of any lure is to catch the angler 1st😉 I have caught on them and the 'copies' I bought for £3 each, so yes they can work. I think of every lure type as an arrow for the quiver. These are small, compact, dense/heavy paddletails, good for twitching around rock gullies. Are they worth the extortionate price? Only you can decide if they fit the needs of your marks....
As for scents I'll be experimenting with them more this year, again the jury is out. I think they may mask human/ unnatural odours better than being anactual attractant but I'll keep experimenting 👍

I was thinking of using the scents more for when the water had a bit of colour to it but as you say be good for masking odour too

Don't knock water clarity
Alot of people think clear is best
I like some color Mediterranean green I call it
Yeah l mean more along the lines of the colour when you add coco pops to milk especially here in the north east doesn't take much to mucky it up

We don't get clear water locally unless we go half mile or more offshore in the boat. I catch plenty of bass on lures in thick brown water. Big lures with strong rattles/ thumping paddle tails and strong silhouettes or highly reflective (black/neon yellows, pinks, firetiger/white/chrome). People who tell you that clarity is an absolute must don't know what they're talking about. Wherever bass get caught on bait they can be caught on lures. Fact. Maybe not as many, but they can be caught once you unlock the code
