South West Slapton

Fished Slapton sands last night got a bit chilly after dark . Large whiting and some big dogs from the off , the better fish fell to frozen lug and razor . Fish went off the feed as soon as there was some bird activity just off shore and came back on the feed 20mins after they left , something had spooked the fish . Tuna perhaps ?

We were there Monday and the amount of bird life diving was incredible, given the amount of bait around, sure there will be tuna too.

Well done on all the fish mate, im still waiting to see one these Tunas, be great to have a line on one, guess the fight wouldn't last that long
