Just a quick report ... I fished Shoreham Beach a couple of times the past week, Thursday night at the church and Friday further up at Widewater, both sessions were 2 hours of the flood and 3 hours of the ebb ... nothing to exciting just the usual suspects of Plaice and Dogs but generally more fish around so hopefully a sign of things improving on our Sussex beaches in the coming weeks ... using 2 x Century TT Super Match Graphex rods armed with Penn Fathom CS 15's loaded with 20lb Suffix Tritanium ... baits were squid, sandeels, bluey and fresh blacks ... 1 rod with a 4/0 pulley dropper looking for rays and the other with 2 hook loop rigs using my favourite scratching hook the Varivas Saltwater Champion in a size 2, which as you can see in the pic will often hook the fish straight in the kisser making their safe returns much easier ??IMG_20210425_121205_383.jpgIMG_20210425_121205_426.jpgIMG_20210425_121205_448.jpgIMG_20210425_121205_488.jpg
