When you say you can hear the bearings, do you mean a rattling sound? If so then I'd suggest that the oil you have used is too thin and is not coating all of the bearing.I have used several types over the years and find some too thin and some too thick. I finally settled on TG Rocket fuel yellow for my 7HT reels as I found the red was a little too sluggish and the tournament stuff they do was way too fast for my casting style.A good multiplier oil will change viscosity during different phases of the cast, thinning as the spool spins fastest and then thickening as it begins to slow down.I guess it's all about what suits your style the best.
