South East Shark wrangling again ?

Hi all, I’ll keep it brief this time! Was back out again last night and conditions were perfect. The weed was bad but manageable for the most part, the biggest problem really was the number of people fishing, at least 8-10 along the stretch where I had chosen…
Not to be put off, I stayed quite late and managed 3 out at 9lbs 12oz, 9lbs 4oz and a really really strong fish of 7lbs 10oz. I lost a 4th to an unusual broken rig body… using 70lbs line!! I can only think the fish ran it around a rock, it felt a good one.
A friend just up from me broke his pb with a 12lbs 8oz hound which was nice to see.

They can be for sure but not all of them scream off. Some give very tentative bites.
I do love the sound of a screaming reel when they do though!!

I'm off to Brighton/Worthing for the weekend visiting our daughter and will be having a couple of sessions whilst we are there, but I don't for a second expect to catch anything that will pull back like those crackers do!
