Hi guys, bit late but here's a few pics from this months trips away.

I did do 2 local sessions, but will keep those for another day, as its been too busy locally with lads chasing reports, posting vids of marks etc.... And sooner or later there will be issues with rubbish and parking!

Anyway, its been a fairly quiet month so far trip wise, but there have been plenty of species.... Think 31 this month so far, and nice to get a few new ones as well for the yearly totals.

First trip was a day over the bridge in Wales. This was a trip for a blonde, and first time trying both the marks we fished. Heavy gear was the order of the day, and it wasn't long before I had a surprise huss in the net... IMG-20220910-WA0020.jpglovely fish.

Bit later a 2nd bite resulted in a lovely marked blonde... Happy days target acquired ?IMG_20220910_080148~2_resize_47.jpgThat was the only other fish from Mk 1, so as things died we moved onto Mk 2.

This was a bit of a hike, and was rammed with other anglers... Not my favorite ?

Anyway everyone spread out 20y or so apart and got fishing as the tide dropped.

It was a slow start as expected, but soon the fish started to come out, and I ended with another 3 blondes, and my mate found 4 and a huss... Best to him at 15+...my best just under 13. Cracking trip and I plan to go back very soon ?IMG-20220910-WA0015.jpg

Next trip was tiddlers on the south coast, weaver was the main target, then whatever I could find.
Think I found 18 species and loads of weavers ?IMG_20220902_164210_resize_82.jpgIMG_20220903_083412~2_resize_14.jpgIMG_20220903_091529_resize_82.jpgIMG_20220903_084239~2_resize_97.jpgthere's a few from the day.

Then I had 9 days in Scotland with the misses... Mostly driving round in the van walking etc.... But I was allowed a bit of fishing, when we stopped next to the sea for the night. ?

Targets were ling, spur, coalfish, sea trout and a male Cuckoo wrasse.

I fished hard in my short sessions and had plenty of fish, a load of macky for bait and breakfast, coalfish, spurs, pollack, Poorcod, goldsinny, scorpion and finally a load of Cuckoo's, including some nice males ?
I also had an octopus and a load of edible crabs, which were lucky I didn't have any tools to eat them ?IMG_20220919_102421~2_resize_97.jpgIMG_20220919_100628_resize_99 (1).jpgIMG_20220914_102019~2_resize_54.jpg
I'll add a few more pics in comments as that's my limit ☹️
