Fished the river Adur today on the hunt for a flounder or two So arrived at 10.30 and a short walk to the river bank set up was two carp rods one with one up one down and a two hook loop rig. Baits fresh blacks salted blacks and maddies..So after 3 hours finally target Species achieved one flounder at 27cm not big I fished on till 3pm and no more fish but nice to be out in the sunshine..2ED9F4CB-44D9-4CF0-8354-11F92AE4D77E.jpeg

Its still a bit early February is when they come in numbers..I fished it further up on Thursday but nothing so decided to fish lower down..

Yes it’s very productive best time is to fish it1 hour up and 2 hours down when in numbers.

Careful of the loads of dogs :poop: if you fish up river from the flyover by the sailing club. Went there last year and the stench was terrible:(
