South Coast quiet day

trip11. 26.9.21. cogden, 0500-1800ish.

looked to be a reasonably big tide, went left.

rigs- up n over , pulleys.. fl;appers n clip downs.

baits. squid, blacklug,sandeel.

winds started light southerl but increased and went s/w. looked a little choppy but to be 1m swells at worst. lots of colour in water over high tide.pleasantly warm out of the wind.

a restfull day pretty much untroubled by fish. managed 3 sml tubbs.

Nice effort mate my buddy fished there Saturday and smashed it the pics he sent me were enough to make me find a new hobbie ?????
 
over the years i've been trying to sus where on chesil fishes best on what tide , but there seemes to be not much of a pattern.
 
Well done on the tubs, shame not much else came out for you, its a strange beach, just when you think you got it sussed it throws a wobbly.
 
My mate had a cracking bag of sole and spots on sat gee all to fresh blacks your still get fish on frozen but I’ll tend to use fresh when I go there just to up my chances he orso had bass and macs float fishing with washed up whitebait
