Hi all, I'm away for a few days with the Mrs from Tuesday, and still had a handful of rag left, so just had no choice but to get out for a short trip and use it ?
Amazingly the normal chocolate water was actually pretty clear and had a green tinge to it.... Very strange, and I felt not great for fishing in the sun!...... But as it turned out I was wrong!
The ebb was dead, but once the flood started a bit of colour returned and combined with a bit of mist reducing the brightness, the fish slowly started to feed.
First bite was a small strap, then a great scrap from a nice hound.
Next up was a bass, then a thorny, followed at the end by a nice sole.
A lovely mixed bag in a few hours.
Cheers Si.
