Before a little normality returned and the kids got back to school I used the time off to get my lad out and into a bit of fishing. Luckily, due to the time of year the fact that the hounds have been about have made it somewhat easier to persuade him further into the hobby.

He’s obviously learning all the time regarding preparation of baits and handling of all fish caught even got him tying a few knots! ? he’s been an absolute superstar to be honest and I’ve enjoyed every session we’ve been out together.

Just sharing a few of the pics.

Even Dad got in on a couple of pics but you don’t need to see too many of those. ?

Hopefully we’ll be able to get a few more sessions in over the winter if the weather is kind enough to allow Callum to tag along.

Tight lines! ????

Brilliant report.
Real men wear pink.

Beige?
Is that a bit like khaki?
I am colour blind.

Think I'll stick to wearing pink ?

Brilliant stuff! I must say that taking my lad fishing with me from a very young age has created a mutual interest between us that has lasted a lifetime and still pulls us back together even though he is now taller, broader and drinks more than me!

It’s something I did with my father too many years ago....... he, on occasions still joins me and my lad she we go but unfortunately he’s waiting on a hip replacement so doesn’t fish just comes to get out with us for a short time.

Went fishing with all of my daughters, normally one at a time for safety sake. Lasted until their mid teens when it became important not to get lug juice under their new nails. Memories which both them and me will keep
That's what its all about bud memories my boys 23 now and still loves it and still kicking my ass.....???
