I took Thrashers advice and stopped in on Saturday blowing a gale. Sunday dawned and it was a bit better breezy with strong gusts so decided to try an hour before and a couple of hours after high tide, should have stopped at home a couple of dogs and a small flounder, but they saved a blank always a good feeling.
Today it was high tide just after 2pm got to my spot 90 minutes before. It was quiet for the first half hour using frozen lug mackerel and squid again then the dogs started had a couple then nibble after nibble every cast it went on like that all afternoon double hook ups small fish then a decent knock and I pulled this in which I think is a whiting not a lot to show for an afternoon but it was a lovely day out and the weather was kind ?
