Yesterday saw me out on the Bass out of Southsea harbour on charter boat Harvest moon.. Skippered by Stuart Newel
I fish with a monthly group outing and this was the day..

We caught fish from the very first drift using soft plastics..
For me it turned into a red letter day with a Bass every drift ..
It was like a they knew it was my lure..
And just targeted it 🙈🙈

Can’t say how many we boated but I was at the 25 fish mark
Ranging upto 7lb and a Scadd around a 1lb
One guy managed a couple of rockfish and I managed a pic of the biggest one 😂😂

Made for some really good takes and fights..
Even when I hit the slow jigs..
I was just on fire 🔥

Every one else were still catching fish and I’m not sure on the days total..
But we all went home with a brace a piece and plenty went back for another day .IMG_6135.jpeg

Hope you enjoy the pics..

Guess you were out at the Overfalls - east of the south side of the Isle of Wight. Fishing well there - when you can get out. Well done - good report.
