i have 2 okuma surf 8K reel's, as you maybe aware they don't come with a spare spool, i looked every where online for the STANDARD spool as a spare,
there are no silver standard spool's available any where, only the shallow spools are available, i ordered the 8K standard spool online, after ordering one i was told the 8K spool wouldn't fit the surf 8K, well luckily it's identical apart from the colour, it's BLACK in colour. i have ordered a surf 8K shallow spool for my 18LB line set up.
