Well the big beach kicked our butts yesterday, what a beautiful day hot sunshine but under a mt tide no movement in the water , bananas and myself met up with rock marks at ferrybridge, between us we had 8 rods on the go , I was the only one to catch a fish a bass of 40cm so not even a keeper
Bob and I stayed 8 hours I got a red face this morning from all that sun. Not even any mackerel about .

Not many macks here too. I watched a tourist mack trip unload on the harbour and 8 people got off with about 5 mack fish in the box and 2 little pollocks

Unlucky lads, can be a frustrating beach at times!.....
I'll have a trip soon I think, hope I find a few fish ?

A nice days fishing with your mates, how enjoyable.
Only one person caught anything? So what!!!!
It was a GREAT DAY away from the stresses and strains of your busy lives.
Embrace it with the knowledge that one day you’ll be back here and this time you may catch some better fish.

Nice report & photos John. Shame the fish weren't about for you boys. As often said, unfortunately, that's why it's called 'Fishing' & not 'Catching'. ????
