South Coast Odd!

The above was on the BBC news website coronavirus quiz......
So according to the bbc you can drive to go fishing.
Seems odd!

I haven't seen anything that says you cannot drive to go fishing, but the guidance is to stay local, and the interpretation of 'local' around here seems to be 5 miles max.

It depends on your own interpretation,

Stay at home.

Walk to go fishing.

Or "i think i have to have to exercise, this is ok for me t drive a few miles and walk 5 mts to go fishing.

It's up to you to decide!

That is in some way the problem as it is open to intepretation and leaves it up to the individual to decide. This is where you hear "spirit" quoted a lot.
Under our restrictions I could drive from hlme to the mull of galloway to fish, two hour journey and 80 odd miles or so, not really in the "spirit" of the guidance when I could go down to Glencaple quay 15 minutes away, but what is really being asked is for me not to go at all if I don't have to.
