Nutter fishing for bass in Brittany

Looks like normal everyday bass fishing to me. It would be a bit trickcier at night but still doable
Aye one of those early waves catch him and he gets a mouthful and he is a goner or he slips and gets a mouthful. One fraction of gram of water if inhaled and you are in water leads to a lung full and almost certain death in his situation! I don't like to say it but arseholes carrying on like that deserve whatever comes their way! It is like so many things in life you get away with it for so long and then it bites you on the arse... but there is always a smart arse out there begging for it.

Yea, doable but I couldn’t be arsed to do all that for a few schoolies. The last bass was worth keeping as an eater.
I’d fish near surf like that but not IN it on rocks wearing street clothes.
He was pretty cack handed as well!

He wasn’t really watching the surf much either...
He slips and he is in real trouble there are some heavy amounts of water falling on him and he is in totally broken ground no way could he regain his feet if he slipped there a bang on the napper and he is relying on the camera man.

boots, proper boots. And definitely no playing to the camera

Spikes help! We’ve got similar marks here but don’t actually get into the surf although wade a few gullies to reach the fishing spots.
I just wear normal waders.

Agree with Jambo, it’s not a good idea to be in surf in broken ground when you can’t see what you’re treading on and surf is pounding in.
Matey did get a lot closer to it than I would have.
