IMG_5823.jpegwe set out early the morning of July 7th heading as far North as we could in the UK to catch the overnight ferry from Aberdeen to the Shetlands..
On arriving on the Monday morning we headed straight to the Harbour at Cullivole on mid Yell and straight onto the charter boat Albacore skippered by Jeff Ayre ..
With in an hour we were at the first fishing ground and started catching cod IMG_5847.jpegFew drifts there and then headed another hour north to some other marks ..IMG_5851.jpegagain wasn’t long till we were into fish..
Fishing at Depths of 300ft - 340ft with a 2lb lead was not fun but a necessity to keep bottom where the fish were ..
