Ok I was bored yesterday so set to and made a bag for my multiplier still bored and too late for the tackle shop I decided to make a flattie spoon with what was to hand ? anyway I woke at 3-30 am this morning no chance of going back to sleep checked the tide and thought go for it.
Quick brew flask and bait sorted on the road just after 4-15 am, high water was at 7-30 so did a couple of hours before and an hour after. I stuck the flattie spoon on with a bit of mackerel and got straight into a fish it wasn't the hoped for flattie but another pesky whiting. I ended up with half a dozen so the dark didn't help on this occasion but the spoon works ?
As dawn arrived there was the lovely sight and sound of huge flocks of geese sorry for the dodgy pics roll on Sunday ?
