fished the above this weekend, newgale on lures sat evening on the left , a small bass on for a short while then threw the hook, a few minutes later a better one took and came in in a bad mood, a good little scrapper about 1lb 8oz. success after three attempts to get one on a lure of the beach. weed was a nightmare on nearly every cast so packed in early.
gennith today with maddies after GG's, lots of weed again but it lessened as time went on (started fishing about 10am) , went left nearly to the white house and had a small bass, not long after i spied the telltale disturbance of fish in a receding wave , a quick cast and a minute later the positive i'm havin this bite of the GG, had forgotten how well these fight and a bit later i'm releasing a nice one near to two pound. this was followed later by another small bass and a palm size dab. so ends my weekend chaps. cheers EO
