Newbie - rod question

Rod got christened today. Wasn't the most full on, but got a bakers dozen whiting a decent sized mackerel of about 40cm for the food box and a wee cod which went back.
Rod was nice to use. Good weight, The tip was very sensitive to all nocks and bites.
Certainly flexes when there is a few fish on.
The lone mackerel made it dance a fair bit.
It will be an exciting rod to use if it gets a bigger fish on it.
