Looking at getting a pair of new reel's, narrowed down to either the Akios shuttle 656 str kuro limited edition or Akios nitron f15xp,,, anyone have either of these reel's that can provide feedback, will be using these over clean to mixed ground cheers Chris 🎣

Had 666 and 555, sold 666 due to lack of use but recently also sold casting specials and 7ht mags and bought nitron f15xp. The shuttle 555 are my lite rod clean ground reels filled with 0.32 mm line and used for sole, place, flounder and bass fishing and they are nice reels but don't have the winding power for when the weed is heavy. The nitron are my general all round reels , they cast nearly as well as the 7ht mags but feel much stronger in use and handle heavy weed no problem and I can cast them further than the casting specials and they feel better built than them but time will tell how they hold up. Only downside I use 0.40mm line on mine and a break while fishing at range would probably mean stripping off the remaining line and responding but this doesn't bother me as I keep half kilo bulk spool and line stripper in the car and can do it in minutes. If I only had one set of reels it would be the nitrons.

Goose,, tyvm for the reply, yeah the new nitron just bought a pair from Veals good discount with my points, now to sell on these two beast's
