I went back to the new mark that I found a couple of weeks ago yesterday morning to see how it would fish on high, after catching 25 or so last week on low. The problem with high tide is that quite often you’re limited on where you can fish, as most other areas are cut off until the tide recedes. After last week’s session on low though, I learnt the make-up of the bottom so knew where (or where not) to fish. I had one good area out to sea to target as well as two deep gullies. I went with the senko again on the Texas rig and managed to remove around 15 from their snaggy lairs. Although I caught less than last week, the fish were of a slightly better stamp.

Nice to see they haven’t taken all of the wrasse to the Scottish salmon farms.

Another lovely Wrasse Damion! You sure have got catching those Critters weighed off! 🎣🎣👍👍

Ian.
