Have to say, I don’t miss pressure lamps at all.They gave an illusion of warmth without really warming anything.The hiss and the soft pool of warm light was nice (even though the light never really reached far enough to see your rod tips) but the cons outweighed the pros for me.In some ways, I think the advent of affordable LED lights has transformed sea fishing. Even a tenner will be enough to get you fishing (although something more reliable is advisable!)And as I said, most of my fishing with Tilleys etc was on rock marks in a very extreme tidal area, so there was no setting up a nice comfy shingle beach pitch with a tent and all the trimmings.Haha, a petrol gennie and no back up torch, that’s pretty crazy!
