These are 2 almost identical 12’ freshwater rods (a DAM Minor Match & an unbranded twin – mentioned elsewhere) with some squashed dual-foot micro guides.
I was assuming s/steel guides & that I might use the rods for some light salt-water fishing. Alas; having reshaped the squashed guides and super-glued them back into their bindings, I employed a stiff toothbrush for a bit of a “polish”. Aagh! – that took off what was obviously a very thin chrome coating over copper ! So no longer good all round – fresh or salt water - without VERY thorough post-fishing maintenance.
Nemind - I am going to save the blanks cos I like their length, weight and whip, but replacement stainless steel guides (micro or otherwise) will be required when I can get around to it.
