Apologies for wrong section but just a bit of a follow up to posts 17 and 18, did get out last night and into small hours of today fishing 3 hours down ( arrived hour early) and nearly 2 hours up before been pushed off.
Lovely sea running but building with increasing northerly so danger of things not been fishable when moving for half water up to high, which proved to be the case later.
Had two riving coalie bites but one hit wonders which was odd, and a slack liner which only spotted with periodic checks with head torch. Once sorted out was snagged but no banging or bumbing of cod fish so got stick and broke out only losing rotten bottom and lead,

Moved to fish for high water but only stayed an hour as weed blowing up line constantly and did not want a salt water soaking later so pulled da plug and headed home.
Now for the weird/ odd part, on arriving at high water mark found a head torch switched on but facing down and a pair of sodden fingerless gloves, with no bits of used bait from bait ups or any other mess.
Remote chance but anyone having left them I will post and wash gloves if you tell me make of torch left..

Enjoyed self and got freak on as fished well in difficult conditions.
Edit, only clue to the “finds” is between seahouses and Howick haven.
