calm winds all day leading upto a sunny 6pm ish tide.
with frozen baits for rays ready for a last min decision trip thought yeah I'll have a go although will be busy for an hour before dark turning up at 530 with walkers ,paddle boards , canoes , kayaks , jet skis and swimmers lol and I was right ...
some nice ladies running along the prom hard to keep watching for bites ?

anyway all calmed down soon as dusk fell and bites started ..

straight bluey or squid baits

had a small doggie type bite 2nd cast and hit it hardly any fight 2-3lbs female

then had a doggie followed by a 6ish lbs male next cast and another

lovely calm evening sunshine

all returned this time neatly hooked so a lucky escape lol

Definitely think that last minute decision was the right one ?. Top angling.
Tight lines.

cheers lads might pop down again after some work

went back down earlier around 6pm for the 8 ish tide .
barely any movement in the water on the first couple casts really strange flimsy stuff on lines ... is the smallest tide in a while though .
anyway about high tide had a slack liner and nice little male ray around 3lbs come in and that was it no other bites went soon after
another nice evening down the beach nice sunset ?
no pics today tight lines

Well done. That looked a lovely evening to be out. Can't wait to stand on a shore again, looking out on a view like that, smelling that salty air.

Target achieved! :)
