I've had my Green Shakey seat box out this afternoon to measure up for a few accessories! When I put it down on a flat surface, it is rocking. Not noticed it before. Investigation reveals one of the black plastic feet is missing from the base. Thinking it will probably warp if I sit my lardy arse on it for long on a hard surface, has anybody got an idea where I can get a replacement? Long shot I know - I have tried to email Shakespeare from the email address on their website, but the email was returned as 'Undeliverable'.

I had the same problem before, a company sent me one for free but for the life of me I can’t remember what the company was called

Got a few in the garage your welcome to a few they are used but not to bad
Is this what your looking for
Thanks DC! Looks a bit like it - I haven't prised one out and measured it because I was originally hoping to contact Shakespeare and assumed they would know the size. Had some laptop troubles this evening so it's getting late (00.40!) so I'll try to measure one tomorrow & give you a shout. One would be appreciated - I would be willing to shout you some postage or depending how far away you are in God's finest county I may be able to collect! (y)(y)

what about a rubber door stop
I've got a bag full of those door stops somewhere but I think they are a bit too big. Good idea if I get stuck though! ??

I am in brixham I can post or arrange something no problem don't think I ever use them all as seem to use rucksack more nowdays

Thanks DC! I could venture over but I suppose due to lockdown, I better forget that idea. I'll dig one of the remaining ones out later and measure it just to make sure of the size. ??

UPDATE:

Thanks to the excellent @Devoncentury who kindly sent me a couple of spare feet, the problem is solved, and I no longer have a rockin' seatbox! Thanks to all for the input. ??

Another little update:

Before @Devoncentury came up with his kind offer, I had done some searching, googling & emailing in the hope that I could come up with some feet from Shakespeare. Took them a little while to respond but, low and behold, 2 feet arrived this morning from KPSpares.co.uk.
They are the approved spares & service centre for Pure Fishing, who own Shakespeare, Abu Garcia, Penn, Mitchell, and probably more!
So if you're struggling for tackle parts from one of these manufacturers, it may be worth dropping an email to kpspares@live.co.uk.

Hiya Trampster,
Good to hear something good said about Pure Fishing for a change.
Always had a soft spot for Shakespeare as had a few rods & reels of theirs when i started out as a boy & i've had quite a bit of their kit now over the years.
Rick?

As I've mentioned in another thread, the Vertix Dragon (£70+) reel I bought to go with my Vertix Conti rod developed a bail arm roller problem so looked for a Penn surfblaster II. Out of stock everywhere due to Covid, & 2nd hand prices sky high so bought a Mitchell RZ9000, and since have found a Surfblaster at a price I couldn't refuse. Both reels excellent. Also have a Penn boat rod & 320GTI reel unused. I ilke the Shakepeare stuff - I've got a couple of old rods still in good condition, Salt tripod, Agility Quiver bag, and numerous other bits. I like the Pure Fishing stuff - never had a problem with any of it.

I've used kp spares before when I broke the tip off a penn spinning rod, very helpful company and very reasonably priced too.

It's a shame there aren't more places like that about, would be brilliant to be able to source spares for more rods/reels/etc...
