Hi guys, well since the storm hasnt arrived it was time to hit the beach, were just up from the shanty town, dodging a shower in the beach buddy, rods are out and i gotta admit i snuck a bottle of mr westons vintage in with the bait to keep cool, does life get any better? Well a dirty great smut would be nice ?

Well guys we stayed until the water ran out, end of the sesh we had two pups, still a great night out in the fresh air, next time will be a super sesh, fingers crossed

No purse, smoothies are one of the few fish that give birth to live young, born fully formed and hungry. The Solent is the favoured area for them giving birth that's why so many are caught there..

Used to get quite a few smoothie pups in Southampton harbour, could be as pesky as pout some tides, I’ve always had a soft spot for smoothounds, so I didn’t mind and always unhooked them carefully and returned them quickly. (As I’m sure we all do!)
