Lidl reels

Hope all is well with everyone, just went into Lidl to do a quick shop for the weekend when I had noticed they'd restocked their fishing range. Various bits and bobs, starter kits etc but found their spinning reels in a 2000, 3000, and a 5000, the 5000 size being a baitrunner. All priced £12 each so thought I'd pick up a couple of the baitrunners to test on the gilts and bass with not much to lose. Just so people are aware incase they wanted to give em a try Tight lines,

You get what you pay for, sometimes if your lucky you may get a little bit more. I'd not want to risk it especially with Gilts they don't mess about. You'd kick your self

Will see how they perform and if too much for them then will be the flounder kit for the winter

Yep, deliberately headed to our largest Lidl yesterday and I too picked up a 5000 baitrunner.
Couldn't find any fishing tackle locally on Wednesday, all gone I guess.

I was in one today and they had a few of the rods kits left but I wasn’t really looking too closely as had what I wanted
