South East Kent Grand Slam!

What an insane night! Fish from the off, my first cast resulted in a hound of 9lbs 8oz before I’d even got the 2nd rod in the water! That cast landed a ray of 6lbs 2oz before my 3rd cast saw a second hound of 6lbs exactly. 3 decent fish in 45minutes!!
A short wait for fish no.4 but a very welcome one as I landed a 48cm bass of 2lbs 15oz. For ages I’ve wanted to complete the kent grand slam (sizeable hound, ray and bass in the same session) and I’ve finally achieved it... in little over an hour!
As the night went on, things slowed but I still managed 3 more hounds to 6lbs 11oz, a dogfish and 2 more rays to 4lbs 2oz!
The last ray came up with 2 sets of gear hanging from its mouth, the second being one I’d lost here on Monday night!! Greedy bugger!

I know right. I could understand more if it was a day apart but 4 days!! And it had clearly taken the bait with both rigs, they were in opposite corners of its mouth!! ....it was definitely mine as well, I make my own leads and stamp them with a “B”.
