17.9.21 hurst.

friday night, weather was dry with a bright 3/4 moon till the clouds rolled in.

sea was flat calm with light southerly winds which felt like the went east in the early hours.

tides were neapish and for about 21 30 near as i could tell from the new esytide layout .

fished about 2100- 0345ish, more people than expected down there, had to walk past usual spot and slot in somewhere on the corner .
tide was running strongly left to right with a lttle weed about for about half an hour before settling down until the flood started again at about 0330.
baits were black lug and sandeels. rigs were pulleys and flappers.

missed a couple of small knocks an saw a few nibbles, captures were restricted to a spidercrab leg untill the magic half hour when a sea rat hung its self.

Good effort, better than a blank. I was at hordle last night and didn't get a single bite. Though I've just spent the day on hurst shingle bank and had a blinding day on the bream.

Well done mate, unlucky on not getting more from there but at least blank saved.

Freaking straps personaly don’t mind em once they get 5 lb + any smaller prefer a dog all day good effort bey ?
