I had a bit of a session off of Bouldner Forest in 50' of water yesterday. I was accompanied by my fishing mate Mike in his own SIB.
The weather was good, I actually got a bit of sunburn on my, recently shaved, head.
Scores as follows
Me 4 doggies 1 conger 6/7lbs
Mike 2 doggies 2 hounds, biggest around 6lb
The bream are in the Solent but staying localised rather than spreading out all over so finding them is difficult. Patience required, they'll be catchable soon.
It was nice to get out. Mike was the clear winner with the hounds but he had peelers, I only had squid.
Bloody congers, I can't stand them.
