Pinched a few of the new Trident Kickers from a mate, and had a play to see what their like.

I do like the simple design with no moving parts. They seem very strong, and while being pretty small will take a large hook.

You do however need to add a clip.... An extra component... Not sure on that for mixed ground, but at least the leads don't fall off like they can with the solo!

With the hook not being locked in, big baits can come adrift the same as an imp, if the lead is not big enough, but I found they worked well overall in the few hours I tried them fishing at range with squid baits.

I shall definitely get a few once they have stock.... Hope that helps someone thinking of trying them ?
