This wrasse, at 5lb 5oz, was the best of a 32 fish haul yesterday morning out on a mark I’ve not been to for around three months. I also missed / lost another 20 odd. All fish took the new 85mm Wrasse Stick in either black, brown or watermelon on the Texas rig with a 5g cone weight from both gullies and rough ground out to sea.

32 Wrasse on the shore is a terrific haul in a session too.
 
Beautiful fish…..they almost look like a coral reef fish don’t they!
Must be almost sixty years since I last caught one…..used to float fish limpits off the rocks in Cornwall but never caught anything bigger than about a pound.
