Well today didn't go as planned.
Me and a mate went back down the north gare and were met by strong westerly winds that weren't forecast, they got the rain right but it soon died off. The sea was very lumpy with some massive swells but the wind was a pain no matter what lure we chucked out the wind put a massive bow in the line which was awkward on the retrieve.1000012446.jpg1000012447.jpgIt doesn't look to bad but like I said the wind was a pain we tried to fish it for 3 hours then gave up 1000012448.jpgBut there's always next weekend 👍.

A shame mate. You are quite a way above the water there. Getting down to sea level would help a bit as does a flatter faster cast than normal
The only way down is via the beach over boulders and rocks and my knee isn't up to that and with it being a flat beach the wash belts up the beach and would of knocked me over if I had made it down.

should have twatted a double crab bait out on a pair of 4/0s mate

plenty of summer cod sniffing around with a bit of northerly swell
