Ben and I decided to try for estuary fish on Friday fish flood up from low , we had a hour to wait for the water to appear , it was a spring tide so the tide had gone out a long way , on the way there I had bought some white bread from the coop , they only had their own brand cheap white , it was rubbish even the mullet and the gulls did not like it , it was dry and crumbly so it wouldn’t go on the hook properly so I give up on catching a mullet , there were plenty around . To say the fishing was slow was a understatement, still I had 3 small bass , Ben had a small one and he was chuffed because he caught his first ever flounder , but it was a beautiful afternoon on a nice quite estuary away from the emmets . 03DC8BEE-A42A-4E32-94DE-EE8A6D7014D5.jpegEC84D85D-3F8C-4197-A5BD-457E03C1C529.jpeg

Glad I decided to stay local bob , ??

Never mind, it wasn’t a blank and the bonus of being nice and quiet away from the crowds. According to the boys in SW Seabaits the gilts are around so worth another visit.

Nice one John & Ben! ????
