Bananas and I met up at a local beach( big enough to social distance ) ,
we got there about 4pm so we could set up in daylight,
Bob said we would catch fish as soon as it got dark , he was right boy it was freezing temperatures but we were boiling hot , the fish did not stop coming until high which was about 7.30pm .
They came in ones then twos and sometimes both rods at the same time , you might have guessed I am talking whiting, they were all eating size some around a pound some up to a pound and a half , I thought I would count mine tonight so I ended up with 25 whiting all of which I returned alive . I also had 4 dogfish and 2 pouting and a nice little baby conger he was cute .
so in total I had 32 fish , oh and I took a tumble after a quite five minutes I walked over to see Bob and as always my rod had a big bite as I ran/walked back I didn’t see this rock and over I went but I went with the got on my knees and crawled to my rod only to find the fish had gone ?, no damage done apart from Bob splitting his sides wondering why I dived on to the beach and was crawling along .
we packed up at 8pm as all bites had stopped now and we had to drive home in the freezing conditions which ranged from 5c to 1c and Misty fog .hear is just a snap shot of a couple of fish .CBC9F675-5839-4A07-870A-9C5F6432791E.jpeg7B1F38EC-9549-433C-987F-FCC7AEE93DEC.jpeg9793BA35-8A79-4917-B403-E7942CD5930A.jpeg

Was a odd night after landing the nice Whiting for them to just switch off for an hour or so them start again, well done on that mighty Conger that you thought was so cute!!.
