Had a wander over to Babbacombe pier this morning, to see if I could grab a new species. Unfortunately the weather was the most interesting thing that happened there, with only a few small pouting, baby Ballan and a nice Corkwing coming out among the heavy showers.

Bar the rainbow, it was just a rather soggy none busy trip, I tried lures, metals and only used one of the two rag that I had, packed up after after high tide and dropped in to Haldon pier for a quick hour, to use the last worm up, well not much happened here either, just two Ballans, one around the 1 1/2 to 2lb mark and the other undersized, had one other bite that snagged me up.
Only good thing, it wasn't raining, roll on the summer.
