South West Floundering in the mist

I gave Ben another lesson last night ???,
we both got lug ,rag, and peelers for our bait , we got to our mark about 7.30 had to wait for a while as some yuppies mucked about in their boats etc , but we didn’t mind as we were waiting for dusk to arrive .
To say it was a bit slow was an understatement but after a while I had my first fish a pout .,
so at least I have not blanked , then I had a bass a small one maybe 30cm.
,meanwhile Ben was struggling he had a few little bites and missed them , then it happened he had a pout then he had a bass .
, then about 11pm I had a cracking bite thought it was a nice bass but no it turned out to be a nice flounder 1.75lb ideal for my spieces hunt


, you can see why the title said flounder in the mist it was so thick you could see maybe 10/20yards .
I finished up with 3 bass and 2 pout and a flounder I think Ben had 3pout and 2 bass. So glad Ben caught a few .

No idea why but over always done poorly in thick fog, I would think it makes the fish more confident to feed in the cover but apparently not ?‍
