South West Fished Sidmouth

Don't know why it's poor there. The Jacobs ladder beach is sand with rocky ends that should hold fish. The sea front groynes should hold fish too. Weird it's so poor there but I've tried seaton hole too on different occasions and caught nothing there too.

Seaton holes a back up venue and only really fishes when colour in the water if it’s clear waste of time branscomes the best beach out of that stretch and the only the produces constantly Sidmouth is just mem only fish if more last night was a 10 lb Huss from jacobs lucky fish for sure everyone else weighed in 1 or two dogs and apart from one rockling that was it out of 20 anglers minstrel if you want to knock this bass blank on it’s heAd I can’t stress enough that you need to go exmouth estuary it is absolutely stuffed with bass mainly schoolers but lots of 6 and 7 lber s as well get down to ex mouth tackle shop speak to the guys in there they will put you on the fish you haven’t the time to spend hrs up and down branscome beach exmouthd a banker mark and once you nail one it’s easy arfter that mate

Spent a hell of a lot of time in Sidmouth in my Teens - Gran had a guesthouse there, but never fished it. I seem to remember the River Sid was often blocked off at the mouth by shingle, and there was a weir a short way up the river - often saw lots of Sea Trout swimming around between the two.

That's a bugger mate, tho you did say you wasn't looking forward too fishing there.

Yep, I've seen mentions of it on the news. If it wasn't got my old man being a vindicive twat, I would probably be living there now. But that's another long story.

Total blank I take it?

Well at least you weighed in!
