Arfter building a set of steps on Sunday morning decided to go out arfter a hound water was chocolate arfter the storm at the weekend thought it whould be busy I was wrong 3 hrs without a bite then a decent pull down resulted in my first hound if the year not big around 4 lb but target achieved followed up with 5 dogs then called a night nice easy sesh apart from the long walk back which I’ve never done in daylight but saw some deer ? that Burt somehow managed to not see even tho they were only a 100 yards away before they done one ??? Off out again Wensday arfter hounds tides and times look perfect ? cheers ma butes

Nah mste he’s the worlds worst hunting dog he was within a 100 yards of them and just didn’t see them at all ?but it was an impressive site to see them running up a really steep hill keeping the same pace the whole way ?

Looking a bit wet & windy Weds evening.Had a look at Bexy today only a couple down there nothing doing a bit choppy as was Seaton on Monday no one fishing.

worlds worst hunting dog

That prize was won years ago by an old girlfriends Irish wolfhound. Out walking it one day when a young Roe hind broke from cover, dog took off after it but instead of trying to bring it down he ran alongside it until it jumped a drystone dyke. He just stood there watching it with a look on his face as if to say come back and play with me. Nice sharkey.

Me and the missus have just been to Sidmouth.The sea is spot on and plenty of colour for about 400 to 600 metres.The Sid is pushing through at a rate of knots,the Ford is a no go.
