Thanks to Mulligan I was up early this morning and on the breakwater, well after scraping the car and salting the drive so I could get out, was a very chilly 0c when I arrived there.
Started hitting the Mackerel on the second cast and was like that on virtually every cast, with 2s and 4s coming out, mostly joeys but the larger one thrown in every now and then, but this wasn't what I came for, a few casts in and thanks to the info from Mulligan (cheers mate) I pulled out a few Sardines, which gave me my 40th species of the year so was well chuffed with them.
Only fished for 3/4 hour and had 20 Mackerel and a handful of Sardines out, my toes had gone numb by now but I didn't mind as was a happy chap on the walk back to the car in the sun that had just rose up.

Good one 'Nanas! You've got more conviction than I have getting out at that time of day & those temperatures! ??

I never managed one
Have to confess I didn't do much better. Not been out as often as I would have liked due to bad health.
