Had another early start this morning now that we are allowed to fish again!. Quick scrape of the car and was off to the breakwater before the sun had come up. Luckily it wasn't that cold when I got there, Adam had arrived at the same time and we saw Kai's car so guessed he was already fishing, a warming walk to the end of the breakwater where we found Kai already bringing in Mackerel, a quick tackle up and I was in to the same, followed up with a few light biting Sardines.
This carried on for several casts till a slight better Sardine slid up the wall, wait no Sardine, a Herring phew target sorted, had a couple more cast that gave a couple more Mackerel before I swapped over to a dropshot in the hope of some Wrasse, this wasn't to be as guess they was still in bed.
With my hands frozen ,as the wind and chill factor had pick up, me and Adam decided to call it a day and have a few plops on the walk back to the car, leaving the hardy Kai to keep at the Mackerel and Sardines, not a touch on the bait on the way back and I was glad to get in the car and start defrosting my hand.
