As We set off on our annual 2 day shark fishing trip out of Ilfracombe myself and 3 mates with Skipper Dan Hawkins on his boat ReelDeal charters.
It was a sceptical sort of morning as we didn’t really know what to expect..
Once reaching our mark to start our drift from the morning turned into something pretty special..
With half an hour of dropping in the first bait the water turned to a frothy white colour as the sharks just seemed to pour in from all directions trying to take the floats..
By 10am we had the first shark to the boat..
A porgie in the 300lb +

Followed by 2 more upto 200lb

a 4th that was easily around the 350lb mark
Another one for me around the 250 mark
The lads also enjoyed a bit of bass fishing between fish

By the end of day one we had boated 8 sharks and dropped a few more on top

Day 2 turned into another red letter shark fest with 11 more porgies boated..
Unfortunately with only 10 pics per post and no vids..
I can’t really do a second chapter..
but I’m sure you get the jist of it ..

Top sharking 👍

Another good report & photos Rich. I wouldn't want to get my face that close to them Toothy critters, but the Bass looked great! 🎣🎣👍👍

Yeah
I did wonder what would happen if it had flicked its head around..
But it did make an awesome pic though 😂
