After being thoroughly beaten up by straps, dogs and sand fleas in my last 3 sessions on bait, I couldn't quite shake my angling addiction, so I grabbed a lure rod instead. I probably fished for 1.5 hours starting just before sunset and finishing at dusk. It was black bream every chuck for a while, with one about 1.5lb and another of 2lb+, all on metal jigs. I also plucked a chunky mackerel out on a jig too, before switching to the Black Minnow. I managed a couple of pretty ballan wrasse before dark and headed on home.

Nice report, great photos CKB! ??

Greedy fish, the lure looks as big as some of them!
Never thought about Bream on lures, gives me an idea for the boat next summer (y)

Thanks a lot for the kind comments lads.

@Shirleycodlin I hope I don't come back as a fish, it's brutal down there, everything is on the attack.

Great pictures and fishing, well done (y)
